TL;DR
Product Manager (Partner & Supplier Services) (Retail Technology): Creating supplier- and colleague-facing apps and services that improve supplier lifecycle management and enable Tesco Partners to deliver customer value and quality with an accent on user research, product strategy, and outcome-driven delivery. Focus on prioritizing complex backlogs, translating requirements into user stories and acceptance tests, measuring product adoption, and coordinating engineering, design, analytics, and international stakeholders.

Location: Welwyn Garden City, UK; hybrid with 60% of the week spent collaborating at office locations or local sites and the remainder remotely.

What you will do

  • Own a product involving multiple internal and external stakeholders and drive its strategy and execution.
  • Work with research, design, analytics, engineering, and programme teams to develop solutions for real business needs.
  • Document requirements through user stories, personas, and acceptance tests, and break complex epics into deliverable increments.
  • Measure and communicate product value, performance, and adoption while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends and drive the adoption of product ideas across product and engineering stakeholders.
  • Potentially manage an Associate or Graduate Product Manager.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Product Manager.
  • Experience with A/B testing or other quantitative optimisation techniques.
  • Knowledge of product management best practices, technical concepts, software development methodologies, and Agile processes.
  • Experience applying user research and design thinking to product work.
  • Experience with backlog prioritisation, dependency management, data analysis, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, persuasion, problem-solving, collaboration, empathy, and listening skills.
