Technical Programme Manager (Cyber Security)

Location: Hybrid in Welwyn Garden City, United Kingdom; 60% of the week is spent collaborating at office locations or local sites and the remainder remotely.

What you will do

• Deliver complex cyber security programmes with technical, operational, and risk dependencies.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across Cyber, Technology, Product, Engineering, and Operations.
• Translate cyber strategy, risk priorities, and security objectives into milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Create and maintain integrated delivery plans covering implementation, operational readiness, and change impacts.
• Identify delivery risks, manage escalations, and facilitate informed trade-off decisions.
• Support financial forecasting, budget management, vendor selection, SLAs, and delivery assurance.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing cyber security delivery, programmes, or portfolios in Cyber, Security, or Technology Risk environments.
• Strong experience delivering complex technology or security initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent programme, project, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, including senior leadership engagement.
• Experience working in environments shaped by cyber risk, threat context, or regulatory obligations.
• Ability to understand cyber and security architectures and manage dependencies and delivery risks.
• Strong reporting, planning, and financial forecasting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience across Identity and Access Management, Cloud Security, Threat Detection, or Security Engineering.
• Familiarity with threat-informed defence, detection-led security, or risk-based prioritisation.
• Experience delivering security tooling, automation, or platform integration programmes.
