Technical Programme Manager (Cyber Security)

Location: London, hybrid; office attendance is required for a minimum of 60% of working time over a 12-week period.

Salary: Base salary of £90,000 per year plus bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the Cyber Security programme and coordinate the wider Core Tech programme roadmap, milestones, dependencies, risks, and reporting.
• Align delivery across Workplace IT, Cyber Security, Production Operations, and Developer Experience.
• Translate strategy into clear milestones, owners, timelines, and delivery plans for complex technical programmes.
• Run agile operating rhythms including stand-ups, planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work with engineering and technical teams to assess trade-offs, unblock delivery, and escalate risks early.
• Improve programme delivery practices through useful roadmaps, RAID logs, dependency maps, and clear stakeholder communications.

Requirements

• Experience managing technical programmes or projects in a software or technology organisation.
• Technical background sufficient for engineering, infrastructure, and security discussions and technical trade-off analysis.
• Hands-on delivery experience across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with engineers and senior leaders.
• Ability to build relationships and drive delivery without formal authority.
• Comfort working in agile environments and making decisions with incomplete information.

Nice to have

• Experience in Workplace IT, Cyber Security, Production Operations, Developer Experience, or platform engineering.
• Background in a fast-scaling consumer or e-commerce technology business.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• PMP, Scrum, or SAFe certification.
