Programme Manager (Space)

Location: Portsmouth, United Kingdom; hybrid working with occasional travel a couple of times a year. Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance or pass a BPSS check, including a criminal record check, is required.

What you will do

• Lead the Payload Major Module within the Onesat programme leadership team.
• Manage and develop an embedded programme team of approximately 10 direct reports.
• Drive programme delivery against specification, financial coverage, Cost Breakdown Structure, Work Breakdown Structure, risks, opportunities, and schedule.
• Maintain external customer satisfaction and provide transparent progress reporting.
• Keep focus on operational on-time, on-quality, on-cost delivery.

Requirements

• Professional experience in telecommunications operations, mobile or network providers, satellite manufacturing, or high-tech mass manufacturing.
• Open and approachable management style with a focus on developing and supporting teams.
• Ability to assess, rationalise, and communicate relevant business information.
• Comfort working in a fluid environment with multiple changing priorities.
• Eligibility for UK SC Security Clearance or a BPSS check, including a criminal record check.
