Delivery Manager (Logistics)

Location: Based at a delivery location on St Georges Way, Bermuda Industrial Estate, Nuneaton, United Kingdom

What you will do

• Lead the delivery team and ensure the operation runs efficiently, safely, legally, and to high customer service standards.
• Manage delivery costs and customer charges against agreed targets.
• Identify efficiency improvements and set challenging targets to control payroll costs.
• Manage customer service coverage, engage with customers, and use feedback to improve satisfaction.
• Work with regional colleagues to identify business opportunities and improve ways of working.

Requirements

• Previous delivery or transport experience.
• Experience and knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Experience managing a team and building strong customer relationships.
• Ability to develop ideas, challenge performance, identify talent, and support team development.
• Strong communication, influencing, planning, and organisational skills.
• A hands-on approach is beneficial; a Management CPC qualification is beneficial.
