Prod Dev Engineer I (Mechanical Engineering)

Salary: USD 75,000–82,000 annual base pay

What you will do

• Support technical innovation and develop creative toy concepts into manufacturable solutions.
• Provide feasibility feedback on initial concepts and assist with mechanism development and breadboard models.
• Create engineering bills of materials and functional specifications.
• Translate design vision into technical specifications for development houses, tooling partners, and manufacturing plants.
• Support value engineering, advanced product quality planning, corrective action programs, and established product development pathways.
• Collaborate with design, product management, Operations, and cross-functional New Product Development teams.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Fundamental understanding of engineering principles and practices.
• Knowledge of plastic production processes, assembly techniques, raw materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge and experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo.
• Understanding of statistics and probability.
