Lead Full Stack Engineer (React/AWS)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; hybrid work is available for candidates living near hirify.global offices, with in-office work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Travel to hirify.global offices or for business purposes is required 3–5 times per year.

Salary: $168,000–$183,000 annually.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain user-facing features and backend services with React, TypeScript, and AWS.
• Build and maintain serverless and container-based applications in the cloud.
• Design and manage infrastructure as code using AWS CDK.
• Optimize application performance and implement automated testing with Playwright.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers and promote engineering best practices.
• Deliver software through Agile Scrum and DevOps practices, including CI/CD.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in full stack development and web-based applications.
• At least 3 years of recent hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, S3, Step Functions, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and DynamoDB.
• Experience designing performant, fault-tolerant, serverless, and cloud-based applications.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• Authorization to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship is required.
