What you will do

  • Analyze data from CRO-generated ligand binding assays, including ELISA and MSD, for protein analytes in nonclinical species and matrices.
  • Manage method transfer, qualification, validation, bioanalysis, and troubleshooting for pharmacokinetic and ligand binding assays.
  • Develop quantitative bioanalytical methods using ELISA, MSD, branched DNA, qPCR, and immunogenicity assays.
  • Collaborate with therapeutic-area, nonclinical, and program-management functions to support therapeutic candidate development and IND filings.
  • Review study designs, workflows, statements of work, purchase orders, and assay-related documentation.
  • Prepare reports and presentations while supporting regulated bioanalysis and multiple platform and development programs.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a related field plus three years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in these fields plus five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
  • Three years of experience with bioanalytical assays, including ligand binding and hybridization-based quantitative methods.
  • Experience with bioanalytical method qualification, transfer, validation, and development for pharmacokinetic, toxicokinetic, safety, and efficacy endpoints.
  • Experience performing sample analysis, troubleshooting assays, preparing validation reports, and quantifying protein analytes in nonclinical species and matrices.
  • Knowledge of immunology and pharmacology for refining assay conditions and improving accuracy and reliability.
  • Ability to work at the Cambridge, Massachusetts location.
