Warehouse Team Manager - AM Shift

What you will do

• Manage the daily warehouse operation on the AM shift.
• Coordinate the receiving, storing, picking, and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain agreed productivity and service levels within budget constraints.
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop warehouse colleagues.
• Maintain a safe working environment and support compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Plan resources, prioritise competing demands, and support operational improvements.

Requirements

• Experience managing or supervising teams in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, productivity measures, and service delivery standards.
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
• Strong organisational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• GCSE or equivalent at grade 4 or above is recommended.

Nice to have

• Experience in an FMCG warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience managing large teams across multiple shifts.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
• Experience with labour planning, resource allocation, budget control, or operational improvement initiatives.
• Relevant warehousing, logistics, or management qualifications.
