Operations Leader (Warehouse)

Location: DVP Warehouse, Rotherham, United Kingdom. Shift: Wednesday/Thursday to Saturday, 18:00–06:00.

Salary: £15.78 per hour plus applicable shift premiums.

What you will do

• Lead pre-shift briefings and end-of-shift handovers.
• Monitor UPH, CPU, and 97% OTIF performance targets.
• Support weekly performance discussions, return-to-work interviews, absence management, and disciplinary matters.
• Maintain daily planners and target monitors, accounting for hours worked.
• Conduct floorwalks and safety observations and lead accident investigations when required.
• Use Yapster and internal chat to share updates and resolve operational issues in real time.

Requirements

• Supervisory experience, ideally in a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Clear verbal communication and concise report-writing skills.
• Ability to interpret performance data and improve operational results.
• Resilience, flexibility, and the ability to lead by example under pressure.
• Computer literacy, a valid driving licence, and experience solving day-to-day operational problems.
