Associate Scientist (Immunology & Inflammation)

Location: Tarrytown, New York, United States. Work model: Onsite.

Salary: $70,300–$110,100 annually.

What you will do

• Execute in vivo experiments in mice, including animal handling, general surgical techniques, and blood and tissue collection.
• Conduct tissue culture, cell culture, and in vitro cell-based assays.
• Develop new methods and technologies, troubleshoot experiments, and support project goals.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, reagents, and accurate experimental records.
• Interpret, analyze, and present research data.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree with 1–4 years of experience in allergy, asthma, or immunology.
• Experience maintaining transformed and primary cells and conducting cell-based assays.
• Experience with flow cytometry, ELISA, and MSD.
• Basic computer skills and experience collecting and analyzing biological data.
• Ability to work onsite in Tarrytown, New York in a fast-paced research environment.

Nice to have

• Training in proper mouse handling and care, general surgical techniques, and collection of blood and tissue samples.
• Experience with GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, SoftMax Pro, and Meso Scale Discovery Workbench.
