Senior Research Associate, Bioanalytical & Molecular Assays - Ligand Binding Assays (mRNA)

Location: Oxford, England, United Kingdom; 70% in-office work model.

What you will do

• Develop, optimize, validate, and execute ligand-binding and cell-based assays for pharmacodynamic and immunogenicity endpoints.
• Perform clinical sample testing across biological matrices using Thermo Watson LIMS in compliance with GcLP requirements.
• Generate, characterize, establish, and control critical reagents while supporting laboratory operations and analytical equipment implementation.
• Prepare SOPs, technical reports, laboratory manuals, and scientific data presentations.
• Review experimental data, analytical study reports, and assay validation reports for scientific and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Clinical Operations and Sample Management to coordinate clinical sample journeys and testing.

Requirements

• BA/BS in a biological science field with at least 5 years of biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO industry experience, or an MS with 3+ years of experience.
• Required experience with ligand-binding and/or cell-based assays.
• Knowledge of GcLP requirements and current regulatory expectations for analytical science.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to communicate program objectives, analyze data, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Experience with Watson LIMS and LabVantage eLBN is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Experience with PK, ADA, or nAb assays.
• Experience working in GLP, GcLP, or GMP-regulated environments.
