What you will do

• Execute antibody library construction activities according to approved protocols.
• Perform high-throughput molecular biology procedures, including RNA extraction, mRNA purification, PCR, cloning, gel extraction, primer design, sequence analysis, and bacterial transformation.
• Culture and manipulate yeast, bacterial, and mammalian cells using aseptic techniques.
• Support method and assay design, experimental execution, data review, technical discussions, and sponsor inquiries under moderate supervision.
• Troubleshoot laboratory processes and contribute to improvements in data quality, cost efficiency, and turnaround time.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, electronic laboratory notebooks, SOPs, and documentation in accordance with regulatory and safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field, plus 1–2 years of relevant experience; a master’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may also qualify.
• Knowledge and experience in molecular biology, including PCR, cloning, primer design, and sequence analysis.
• Experience with yeast, bacterial, and mammalian cell culture, growth, transformation, miniprep, RNA extraction, and aseptic techniques.
• Experience using electronic laboratory notebooks and applying laboratory safety practices, standard precautions, and hazardous chemical handling requirements.
• Ability to follow, understand, write, and edit SOPs with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in data analysis, laboratory calculations, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with effective organization and communication skills.
