Compensation Programs Senior Analyst

Location: Hybrid in San Mateo, California, United States. Office attendance is required Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday.

What you will do

• Develop, design, plan, and manage compensation programs, policies, and processes.
• Lead global compensation programs, including bi-annual compensation review cycles.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and compensation program re-engineering.
• Implement compensation systems and streamline workflows through Workday, Zendesk, Jira, and internal systems.
• Develop Excel and Google Sheets models, reports, dashboards, and metrics while monitoring data integrity.
• Create communications for senior management and provide actionable compensation insights.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in technology, compensation, consulting, finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive human resources and compensation experience.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, including analysis and automated models.
• Knowledge of compensation industry trends and developments, with strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Workday.
• Ability to work in the hybrid San Mateo office schedule is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
