Regional Compensation Specialist (Workday)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. Hybrid schedule: 4 days per week in the office and 1 day remote. Relocation to Charlotte is possible, with relocation assistance available for eligible candidates.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and manage compensation programs across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
• Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, salary surveys, job evaluations, and salary reviews to support competitive and equitable pay.
• Support executive compensation, sales compensation, short- and long-term incentives, and recognition and reward programs.
• Partner with business leaders, HR teams, Talent Management, and HR business partners on organizational design, job architecture, leveling, career pathing, and organizational changes.
• Analyze compensation data and prepare reports and dashboards for leadership decision-making.
• Use Workday to administer compensation processes, maintain data integrity, and support system enhancements and testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field with approximately 5 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market pricing, and North American labor and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with organizational design and executive compensation.
• Proficiency in Workday and advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, including experience in a global matrix environment.
• Applicants must be able to work in or relocate to Charlotte, United States; the role requires four days per week in the office.

Nice to have

• CCP certification or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience with compensation in the Canadian and Mexican labor markets.
• Spanish proficiency.
• Project management or coordination experience.
