Executive Business Partner (AI)

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, on-site

Salary: $95,000–$165,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Manage complex calendars for three leaders, primarily two co-founders, while protecting focus and preparation time.
• Build executive operating systems, including communication triage, meeting preparation, digests, and working cadences.
• Improve the flow of priorities, decisions, and ownership across leadership meetings, planning forums, and company-wide communication.
• Maintain relationships with scientific collaborators, clinical partners, funders, advisors, regulators, strategic partners, vendors, and prospective hires.
• Own executive travel, receipts, expenses, events, partner visits, and visitor coordination.
• Handle confidential professional and personal information with discretion and provide limited personal support when it protects work time.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience supporting founders or similarly demanding senior leaders.
• Exceptional prioritization, organization, attention to detail, communication, and follow-through.
• Ability to anticipate issues, manage up, simplify complexity, and make routine decisions using established priorities.
• Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential personal and company information.
• Ability to use AI to automate repetitive work, synthesize information, and prepare context while maintaining verification and judgment.
• Ability to work on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting scientific or engineering founders, especially leaders with academic or research backgrounds.
• Intellectual curiosity about science, engineering, people, and organizational strategy.
