Supplier Engineer IV (RF Power/Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Onsite role with approximately 25% travel. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $133,500–$183,500 per year.

What you will do

• Manage quality performance for RF/process power and sensor repair and refurbishment suppliers.
• Lead supplier technical audits, evaluate supplier capabilities, and drive continuous improvement at supplier sites.
• Lead quality problem resolution and incident management, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Run supplier quality reviews, audits, and improvement plans to reduce defects and strengthen execution.
• Support supplier selection by evaluating quality, value, cost, delivery, and technology capabilities.
• Monitor cost drivers and supply markets to support competitive cost planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic products, manufacturing processes, failure analysis, and reliability fundamentals.
• Experience in supplier quality engineering, technical audits, process capability assessments, and corrective actions using 8D or similar root-cause methodologies.
• Expertise in RF power systems, power electronics, or related high-voltage and high-power applications.
• Experience in the semiconductor equipment, semiconductor, or advanced electronics industry is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across engineering, operations, suppliers, and customers.
