Engineering Manager, Okta Identity Governance

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; hybrid work

Annual base salary: $204,000–$280,500 USD

What you will do

• Manage the engineering team responsible for Identity Governance product features.
• Set priorities, expectations, and accountability for individuals and the team.
• Collaborate with product management to define and refine the product roadmap.
• Drive high-quality feature delivery with engineering, architecture, QA, product, and documentation partners.
• Provide technical guidance, feedback, mentoring, and support for recruiting and retaining engineers.
• Build an inclusive, collaborative engineering environment and improve team productivity.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience developing enterprise cloud software.
• 3+ years of hands-on technical management experience.
• Experience aligning objectives, priorities, trade-offs, and risks with product and program managers.
• Experience handling support tickets, bug fixes, and enhancements in a large enterprise application.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for technical discussions.
• Experience leading, recruiting, mentoring, and retaining engineers while working with distributed teams.
