Commercial Launch & Deployment Manager (AI)

Location: San Bruno, California, United States; national travel of up to 50% during peak deployment and validation cycles.

Estimated base salary: $150,000–$170,000 per year, excluding benefits and potential equity.

Develops food-waste prevention technology, including smart residential food recyclers and commercial systems that convert food scraps into valuable resources.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain site-readiness checklists, launch playbooks, and integrated schedules for commercial deployments.
• Coordinate Hardware Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Field Operations, and Partner Success teams.
• Lead cross-functional meetings, track critical paths, and resolve risks and deployment bottlenecks.
• Manage third-party vendors and escalate field issues while maintaining installation service-level agreements.
• Audit vendor work against technical specifications, company standards, and partner security or access requirements.
• Develop standardized operating procedures, training curricula, localized documentation, and train-the-trainer programs.

Requirements

• 4+ years of program management, field operations, or hardware launch experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in B2B, commercial infrastructure, or enterprise hardware environments.
• Experience shipping or deploying physical hardware products; enterprise IoT, commercial charging or energy infrastructure, commercial appliances, and industrial supply chain hardware are valued.
• Technical literacy across hardware specifications, electrical and space constraints, facility architectural diagrams, and network connectivity profiles.
• Ability to work with logistics teams, general contractors, loading docks, facilities managers, corporate leaders, and floor managers.
• Experience with health, safety, food-handling, or building compliance frameworks such as OSHA, NSF, or UL is advantageous.
