Human Resources Manager

Location: Rio Rancho, New Mexico, United States; onsite support for a new manufacturing facility.

What you will do

• Partner with site leadership on workforce strategies supporting production goals, organizational growth, and operational excellence.
• Coach managers on employee relations, investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, performance, and employee development.
• Support a large non-exempt manufacturing workforce, including wage and hour compliance, attendance, scheduling, and timekeeping.
• Analyze turnover, attendance, overtime, engagement, and other workforce metrics to identify operational improvements.
• Coordinate HR support for hiring, onboarding, new production lines, shift expansions, and site growth.
• Execute HR programs covering performance reviews, compensation, promotions, development, policies, audits, investigations, and regulatory activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including 3+ years supporting manufacturing, production, distribution, or other operational environments with significant non-exempt populations.
• Strong experience coaching managers through employee relations, investigations, corrective actions, and performance management.
• Deep understanding of wage and hour laws affecting hourly employees and experience partnering with Operations leaders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal direction and communicate effectively.
• Ability to satisfy applicable U.S. Government security clearance, citizenship, export-control, or other eligibility requirements if required for classified or restricted information.

Nice to have

• Experience launching a new facility or supporting major site expansion.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or another highly regulated industry.
• Multi-state HR experience.
• Experience with Rippling, Workday, UKG, or similar HRIS platforms.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
