People Operations Manager

Location: United States; fully remote with work from anywhere in the Americas

Salary: $110,000–$160,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Own the HRIS and related people systems.
• Administer benefits for US, Canadian, and international employees, including enrollment, HSA, FSA, COBRA, 401(k), and annual notices.
• Maintain the employee handbook, HR wiki, and people policies.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, exit interviews, severance logistics, relocations, and international moves.
• Handle employee reports and workplace investigations, including documentation and escalation processes.
• Run performance check-ins, compensation reviews, and engagement surveys, and manage the immigration program with outside counsel.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in people operations, HR, or a people partner role.
• Independent experience conducting workplace investigations, including harassment matters, and writing defensible documentation.
• Deep experience administering US benefits and leave.
• Strong HRIS experience; Rippling experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with employment-based H-1B, O-1, L-1, and PERM immigration matters.
• Experience running performance and compensation cycles for 100+ employees.
