Electrical Engineer II (Water Quality)

Location: Onsite in Loveland or Fort Collins, Colorado, United States

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 USD per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and sustain electrical subsystems, including power systems, control electronics, and sensor interfaces.
• Support new product development and sustaining engineering through design changes, investigations, and product improvements.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues affecting performance, reliability, manufacturability, and customer experience.
• Develop and execute test plans across environmental and operational conditions.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, systems, manufacturing, quality, product management, and senior engineering teams.
• Document schematics, test reports, design records, change requests, root-cause investigations, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of electrical engineering experience in product development, manufacturing, testing, or sustaining engineering.
• Experience with circuit design, schematic capture, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting electronic systems.
• Ability to analyze technical problems and develop practical solutions with guidance from senior engineers when needed.
• Experience working effectively on cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with analog and digital circuit design, microcontrollers, sensors, communication protocols, and embedded systems.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
• Exposure to regulated product development, design controls, engineering change processes, and PCB design or layout tools.
