Electrical Engineer II (Medical Devices)

Location: On-site in Chelmsford, Massachusetts; applicants must reside within a reasonable commuting distance. Relocation is not offered.

Annual salary: $90,000–$112,000, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Design and develop new and currently marketed medical devices, including external defibrillators, external pacemakers, and monitors.
• Design, test, and document new circuitry and modify existing systems and subsystems.
• Work on analog, digital, power supply, isolation, and high-voltage functionality.
• Perform debug testing and design qualification activities.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, vendors, and contractors.
• Support manufacturing and quality assurance teams by debugging and improving existing designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least 1 year of hands-on electrical engineering experience.
• Product design experience.
• Experience using electrical engineering test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, written and verbal communication, teamwork, and self-management skills.
• Must be able to work on-site in Chelmsford, Massachusetts and must not require immigration-related sponsorship now or in the future.
