Electrical Engineer (Consumer Electronics)

Location: Los Angeles, United States; expected to work in the office 4+ days per week. International travel of up to 20% is required to support development builds at external suppliers and partners.

Salary: $91,000–$161,000 annually, depending on the assigned U.S. pay zone. Eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.

What you will do

• Own schematic design, circuit reviews, stackup definition, and layout reviews for PCB, flex, and rigid-flex designs.
• Test and validate electrical designs, including power quality, high-speed signal integrity, low-speed interface performance, and coexistence.
• Debug hardware issues and analyze circuit behavior across process, variability, and temperature.
• Develop electronic prototypes for new product concepts.
• Collaborate with RF, Product Design, Firmware, and cross-functional engineering teams from design through failure analysis.
• Support development builds at external suppliers and partners through international travel of up to 20%.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in electrical or hardware engineering.
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and experience with electronic design, component selection, and schematic design.
• Familiarity with low-power and battery-operated designs.
• Experience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, battery simulators, digital multimeters, and vector network analyzers.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering groups.

Nice to have

• MS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience developing consumer electronic devices.
• Experience communicating with vendors.
• Experience with Cadence OrCAD and Allegro.
