Business Systems Analyst (Python)

Location: Evanston, Illinois, United States; hybrid work with work-from-home and on-site presence at client or hirify.global offices

Salary: $120,000–$137,000 per year

What you will do

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to shape and implement technology solutions for business problems.
• Analyze business needs and translate them into technical designs, solution visions, and architectures.
• Lead project modules and workstreams while contributing to hands-on implementation.
• Develop project deliverables including business cases, user requirements, prototypes, test cases, deployment plans, and operations strategies.
• Coordinate task planning, project delivery, staffing, and risk mitigation.
• Manage and mentor team members and support timely, high-quality project completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business analytics, computer science, MIS, or a related field, with academic excellence.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience delivering small- or medium-scale technology solutions.
• Experience leading project teams and driving end-to-end activities.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS concepts, SQL, data warehousing, reporting, big data, data management, analytics, and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Python and strong analytical, problem-solving, algorithm, and data-structure skills.
• Fluent English and authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship are required.
