Exec Dir Enterprise Architect (AI)

Location: On-site 4 days per week, primarily based at the Sleepy Hollow, New York or Warren, New Jersey office. Fully remote work is not available. Relocation benefits may be available for eligible candidates.

Salary: $285,600–$475,900 annually.

What you will do

• Define enterprise architecture strategy, principles, target-state blueprints, and multi-year technology roadmaps across data, cloud and infrastructure, application, and integration domains.
• Establish architecture governance, review boards, design authority processes, standards, reference architectures, and exception management.
• Lead technology rationalization, platform and vendor selection, cloud and infrastructure strategy, integration architecture, and investment planning.
• Advise business, product, engineering, and program leaders on digital transformation, modernization, AI, automation, data platforms, and scalable technology solutions.
• Provide oversight for resilient platform architectures, DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, mergers and acquisitions due diligence, and cross-functional architecture decisions.
• Build and lead the Data & AI, Cloud & Infrastructure, Application, and Integration architecture functions while mentoring architects and senior technical leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 17+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, IT strategy, or technology leadership.
• 10+ years in senior leadership roles guiding architecture, engineering, or technology strategy teams in a large, complex, global organization.
• Deep expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman and experience with cloud platforms, integration, data architecture, and application architecture.
• Experience with enterprise security architecture, identity and access management, regulatory and compliance frameworks such as GxP and data privacy, and modern delivery practices including DevOps, CI/CD, microservices, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong executive presence, business acumen, communication skills, and experience building high-performing architecture teams.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Experience establishing operating models with CISO and CAIO architecture teams and partnering with business strategy functions.
