Senior Enterprise AI Architect

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco or New York, with in-office work Tuesday–Thursday and 25% travel to customer sites

Salary: $200,000–$275,000 base, depending on experience, location, and level, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the strategic technical relationship with Fortune 500 customers, advising CIOs, CTOs, enterprise architects, and business executives.
• Identify high-value AI opportunities and shape ambitious, deliverable technical visions with customer teams.
• Lead solution architecture, feasibility assessments, prototypes, demos, and technical content for statements of work.
• Evaluate data, systems, security, integrations, deployment models, dependencies, assumptions, and delivery risks.
• Carry the technical relationship from early conversations through architecture reviews, implementation support, executive steering, and expansion.
• Convert recurring customer needs and deployment learnings into reusable technical assets and product and engineering feedback.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in engineering, enterprise architecture, forward-deployed engineering, solutions architecture, technical consulting, or similar customer-facing roles.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and shipping production-grade enterprise agentic AI and ML systems.
• Strong executive advisory, problem-shaping, technical influence, and high-stakes communication skills.
• Experience owning complex enterprise solution architecture, technical scope, and SOW content.
• Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, cloud and enterprise architecture, data flows, security, modern AI systems, and coding for prototyping and system analysis.
• Ability to work from the San Francisco or New York office Tuesday–Thursday and travel 25% for onsite customer meetings.

Nice to have

• Background in forward-deployed engineering, engineering, or technical consulting with ownership of customer outcomes and technical decisions.
• Experience with long, C-suite-led sales cycles at a consulting firm, high-growth technology company, or enterprise software company.
• Early-stage startup experience and comfort operating in ambiguous environments.
• Domain expertise in customer support, voice, MarTech, cybersecurity, IAM, or document processing.
