Location: South San Francisco, United States; On-site. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship or co-op period.

hirify.global is an American manufacturer of drone motors and robot actuators building and scaling manufacturing in the United States for the global market.

What you will do

• Support the engineering team with the design, modeling, and testing of drone motors and robot actuators.
• Perform CAD work, design iterations, simulation, and analysis.
• Help evaluate prototypes and document engineering work.
• Participate in design reviews and assigned research tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to move motor and actuator designs from concept toward production.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Strong interest in robotics, drone technology, manufacturing, or technology startups.
• Authorized to work in the United States for the full internship or co-op period.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of CAD, PCB layout tools, embedded programming, or data analysis.

Nice to have

• Previous internship or project-based student organization experience, such as Formula SAE, Rocketry, or Design Build Fly.
