Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Fanuc Robotics)

Location: Onsite in Wentzville, Missouri, United States; full-time presence at the designated location is required.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and daily support for Body Shop operations, maintenance, tooling, automation, and quality systems.
• Plan and coordinate engineering, maintenance, and production activities to improve uptime, throughput, quality, and safety.
• Diagnose issues involving Fanuc robots, Body Shop cells, conveyors, tooling, automation systems, and manufacturing equipment.
• Support breakdown response, root cause analysis, equipment installation, commissioning, validation, start-up, and launch readiness.
• Analyze CMM and Perceptron Vision Systems data to improve dimensional performance and build-to-nominal results.
• Lead cross-functional problem solving with plant teams, suppliers, vendors, and manufacturing engineering partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or current enrollment in an Engineering degree program.
• At least 3 years of experience in Body Shop tooling, manufacturing dimensional processes, or related manufacturing engineering support.
• Demonstrated experience with Fanuc robotic systems, process troubleshooting, and manufacturing automation.
• Knowledge of Body Shop cell structure, station-to-station flow, tooling, robotics, quality systems, and maintenance processes.
• Experience with new equipment build, installation, start-up, process validation, and launch readiness.
• Must be able to work onsite full-time, rotate shifts, or work off-shifts as business needs require; GM immigration sponsorship is not available.
