Supply Chain Team Lead (1st Shift)

Location: Hodges, South Carolina, United States; onsite, 1st shift Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Salary: $20.75–$26.42 per hour; starting pay is $20.75 per hour.

hirify.global's Large Power Systems Division designs and manufactures large diesel and natural gas engines, engine components, and powertrains.

What you will do

• Assist the Section Manager in leading team members, coordinating workflow, delegating tasks, and managing daily operations.
• Coordinate expedited shipments with logistics partners and external carriers while representing customer needs to the logistics team.
• Lead multifunctional meetings, track performance, manage priorities, and support change management.
• Oversee inventory zones, investigate aged inventory and root causes, and lead reconciliation activities.
• Lead problem-solving events, customer defect investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Track safety, quality, velocity, and cost metrics while maintaining training flexibility and enforcing safety procedures.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of supply chain operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, mathematical, analytical, and recordkeeping skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Ability to work independently, work overtime when required, and maintain a good attendance record.
• Ability to occasionally lift parts weighing up to 35 pounds individually or 70 pounds as a team lift, use PPE, and perform bending, reaching, squatting, and material-handling duties.
• Ability to occasionally operate reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, overhead cranes, and other heavy equipment.

Nice to have

• Previous leadership experience in manufacturing or logistics operations.
• Demonstrated Lean Manufacturing experience.
