Propulsion Manufacturing Intern (Aerospace)

Base pay: $29 per hour

hirify.global designs, builds, and operates advanced communications satellites for high orbits from its headquarters in Northern California.

What you will do

• Design and build factory systems for satellite production.
• Deliver a physical propulsion subsystem, from tank to thruster, ready for operation in space.
• Apply hands-on design and development practices in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Help identify and fix equipment, process, and communication issues across teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or NX.
• Strong interest in manufacturing and hands-on engineering.
• U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status required to comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience building or testing liquid propulsion systems.
• Experience writing work instructions or test procedures, or using MES/ERP software.
• Experience with welding, machining, or designing welded or machined components.
