Store Director - American Girl Retail

Location: CA - Los Angeles AG Retail, Los Angeles, California. Onsite role at the American Girl flagship retail store with a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends.

Annual base pay range: $120,000–$147,000.

What you will do

• Direct daily business and operational functions across the multi-departmental flagship retail facility.
• Drive customer service standards, sales generation, revenue performance, and brand experience across retail and restaurant operations.
• Manage store financial planning, monthly P&L reviews, forecasts, project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Develop policies, procedures, and systems that improve service quality, operational efficiency, safety, and shrinkage control.
• Partner with senior leadership, Brand, Marketing, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Distribution, and other corporate functions.
• Lead recruiting, training, performance management, succession planning, and professional development for the store team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in retail management; premium or high-end retail experience is preferred.
• Restaurant experience is desirable.
• BA/BS degree, preferably in Business Management.
• Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles on a flexible retail schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Experience leading teams, managing performance, and delivering financial and customer service results.
