What you will do

• Provide direct support to production processes in a cleanroom environment (approx. 75% of time).
• Troubleshoot mechanical assembly, glass-to-metal bonding, flow, and thermal issues.
• Develop OCAPs, Fishbones, and technical work instructions for production staff.
• Evaluate and disposition failed parts with proposed engineering solutions.
• Support diagnostics qualification, implementation, and design reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve engineering disturbances and support output goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology (Export Administration Regulations).
• Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom environment with full gowning requirements.
• Working knowledge of mechanical assembly, alignment, and tooling.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, LabVIEW, and Python.
• Strong ownership, communication skills, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with NX, Teamcenter, and SAP.
• Knowledge of Optical-Electrical sensors and geometric/wave optics.
• Background in Lean Manufacturing and quality methodologies like FMEA and statistical process control.
