Sheet Metal Machine Operator

What you will do

• Operate lasers, press brakes, hardware insertion machines, and drills to produce sheet metal parts.
• Load machine programs and adjust offsets when required.
• Read blueprints and geometric tolerances and inspect completed parts using measuring instruments.
• Maintain production schedules, follow quality and safety procedures, and complete operator preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot recurring production issues, escalate unresolved problems, and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain an organized work area and collaborate with shift leads and supervisors.

Requirements

• Experience or education in machining, preferably in a prototype or sheet metal manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, and CAD/CAM tools.
• Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and experience using protractors, calipers, and height gauges.
• Ability to interpret written and statistical data, manage priorities, and communicate effectively.
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail, confidentiality, and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Due to ITAR regulations, applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or foreign nationals with refugee or asylee status. Temporary visa holders are not eligible.
