Supervisor, Operations (Natural Gas)

Location: Farmington, New Mexico; must live within 30 minutes of the Farmington office. The role requires frequent site visits and travel throughout New Mexico and may include 24-hour emergency call periods.

Salary: $96,000–$120,000 per year, based on skills, experience, and education.

What you will do

• Lead teams responsible for construction, maintenance, service installations, operations, meter repairs, and warehouse activities.
• Create work assignments and direct, schedule, and control routine and emergency-callout activities.
• Set team goals and objectives and provide long-range direction for the department.
• Ensure employees receive training for all aspects of their roles.
• Manage budgets and control costs within the area of responsibility.
• Enforce loss-control and operational safety requirements and provide the resources needed for safe work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; four additional years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
• At least three years of operations experience in a natural gas utility, maintenance or construction, plumbing, engineering, or a related field.
• In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, four additional years of related experience are required.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the Farmington office and be able to travel throughout New Mexico.
• Ability to work in office and field environments, including occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and emergency on-call periods.
