Mgr, Estimating (Construction)

What you will do

• Develop strategic pricing objectives and provide pricing analysis and recommendations.
• Review requests for quotations, work orders, consumption reports, and demand forecasts to prepare estimates and work assignments.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to estimate product quantities and material requirements.
• Supervise professionals involved in preparing estimates.
• Prepare monthly reports on cost factors and estimate effectiveness for management.
• Collaborate with sales and internal stakeholders to formulate estimates and resolve issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is typically required.
• Typically 7+ years of experience in a related field; certification may be required.
• Experience analyzing and investigating complex estimating and pricing problems.
• Experience managing professional individual contributors or indirectly supervising support staff.
• Ability to work onsite in Farmington, New Mexico.

Nice to have

• Experience with estimating and projecting for budgeting.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools used for building and repair.
• Knowledge of business and management principles.
