Senior Quality Program Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Space Coast, Florida, United States. The role requires U.S. citizenship or national status, U.S. permanent residence, or lawful admission as a refugee or asylee.

What you will do

• Develop and implement quality processes for the design, testing, and manufacturing of New Glenn upper-stage flight systems, including Stage 2, Stage 3, and payload accommodations.
• Lead complex failure investigations, mission anomaly reviews, return-to-flight activities, and systemic corrective actions with Mission Assurance.
• Act as the quality interface for commercial customers and align design, production, supplier quality, test, and flight-operations organizations with the New Glenn upper-stage programs.
• Coordinate internal support for National Security Space Launch certification and compliance through the government quality liaison.
• Manage nonconformance workflows, dispositions, corrective-action tickets, dashboards, and Corrective Action Board presentation materials.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives using AS9100 quality-management practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field.
• At least 8 years of manufacturing experience, including 3 or more years in quality engineering.
• Experience supporting launch-vehicle development, payload integration, or upper-stage spacecraft systems.
• Strong knowledge of root-cause analysis and Corrective Action Boards.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9000, or related quality-management systems; ability to use or quickly learn AI tools for quality and process improvement.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, current U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.

Nice to have

• Experience serving as the primary interface for commercial aerospace payload customers.
• Advanced degree in engineering or an MBA.
• Quality-assurance plan development for proposals and program execution.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or comparable certification.
