Senior Quality Technician (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Blue Ash, Ohio, with the role located at the Cincinnati, Ohio facility; onsite position in the United States

hirify.global designs, develops, and manufactures jet propulsion systems for unmanned aerial defense using additive manufacturing.

What you will do

• Perform visual and mechanical inspections of components using calipers, micrometers, gages, profilometers, optical comparators, CMMs, and GOM scanners.
• Measure parts against engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and industry specifications.
• Create and implement inspection processes and run part measurement programs using PC DMIS and CAD models.
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering, suppliers, and customers to resolve product issues.
• Maintain quality-system records, calibration data, KPI tracking, document control, and customer data or CoC packets.
• Record non-conformances and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a quality-related position.
• Experience in an AS9100 or similar manufacturing and inspection environment.
• Experience writing programs and operating CMM equipment.
• Ability to develop quality procedures and work instructions, interpret drawings, and apply GD&T.
• Experience with measurement tools and formal written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with PC DMIS, additive manufacturing, machine operations, Keyence machines, or auditing.
