Regional Operations Director (RDO) (Veterinary Operations)

Location: Boston practice locations, United States; regular travel across practices is required

Salary: $145,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop Practice Managers across multiple veterinary practices.
• Build talent pipelines and succession plans while setting clear expectations and accountability.
• Drive consistent, on-brand operations and monitor labor, inventory, service, quality, and financial metrics.
• Coach managers on staffing, scheduling, budgets, inventory turns, and data-backed business decisions.
• Support new practice openings through hiring, training, operational readiness, and early-market stabilization.
• Partner with HQ and medical leaders on launches, process improvements, clinical quality, and field communication.

Requirements

• 3+ years of multi-unit operations experience; veterinary, hospitality, retail, wellness, assisted living, or boutique service experience is relevant.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing managers.
• Experience managing labor, scheduling, inventory, service, quality, and other operational KPIs.
• Ability to drive performance while maintaining strong team and customer experiences.
• Strong communication, judgment, follow-through, and comfort in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability and willingness to work from Boston practice locations and travel between practices.
