Operations Data Analyst (Databricks)

Location: Draper, Utah, United States; hybrid work with two days per week in the office

What you will do

• Collect, clean, transform, and document data from multiple sources, maintaining data dictionaries.
• Support enterprise data migration by analyzing requirements, translating operational logic, and refactoring processes to preserve data integrity.
• Build and maintain Databricks Silver tables for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Analytics Engineers on data requirements and data modeling.
• Monitor data quality, recommend improvements, and contribute to data infrastructure and tooling.
• Conduct exploratory analysis, create dashboards and visualizations, and communicate findings through reports, presentations, and Slack.

Requirements

• 4+ years of data analyst experience in a corporate setting.
• Proficiency with Databricks and SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in the Draper, Utah office two days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, R, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SAS, or SPSS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Familiarity with data management best practices and sensitive-data regulations such as HIPAA and CCPA.
