What you will do

• Lead plant staff and coordinate internal and external functions to maintain efficient, cohesive operations.
• Ensure the plant meets or exceeds safety, quality, efficiency, and budget objectives.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies and internal SOX requirements.
• Manage relationships with customers and cross-functional support groups.
• Review operating metrics, respond to performance variations, and communicate key issues to upper management.
• Prepare bi-weekly business updates, month-end reports, and the annual plant budget.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a technical or business bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of plant management experience.
• Experience managing a diverse staff in a medium-to-large technical plastic process operation is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills, including experience supervising managers.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, writing, computer, and presentation skills.
• Strong technical background and budgeting preparation and management skills.
