Manager Production (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site five days a week at the Pontiac, Illinois facility. First shift runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with overtime as needed. Domestic relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $97,530–$146,290 per year.

What you will do

• Provide daily direction and organizational leadership for hourly associates across machining, assembly, and test value streams.
• Supervise up to 30 technicians and coordinate activities across complex production lines.
• Prepare production schedules, assign work, resolve operational conflicts, and monitor performance.
• Create production, tooling, performance, and inventory reports and recommend improvements to safety, productivity, and quality.
• Maintain operating procedures and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage training, staffing strategies, resource allocation, value-stream budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university may be preferred.
• Knowledge of machining processes, including lathe, milling, and grinding operations.
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and practices.
• Manufacturing and leadership experience.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, decision-making, planning, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
