Supervisor, Sanitation (Night Shift)

Location: Downingtown, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite night-shift role

Salary: $65,500–$90,100 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate nightly wet-wash sanitation operations and lead the plant sanitation department.
• Ensure compliance with AIB, FDA, state, and local food safety and sanitation requirements.
• Supervise cleaning of equipment, facilities, and work areas, including custodial and waste removal services.
• Oversee chemical usage, safety training, certifications, confined-space work, aerial-lift activities, and Lockout-Tagout procedures.
• Manage the sanitation budget, inspect premises and equipment, and troubleshoot cleaning-process issues such as CIP-system malfunctions.
• Develop sanitation strategies, Master Sanitation Schedules, and SSOPs; lead DDS meetings and CAPA, root-cause, environmental monitoring, ATP, and allergen-validation activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of sanitation experience in a manufacturing environment, or a bachelor's degree with 3 months of sanitation experience.
• Ability to work the night shift and weekends as required.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and follow authorized Lockout-Tagout procedures.
• Ability to lead sanitation teams and maintain compliance with food safety standards and regulations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's or associate's degree.
• 3+ years of sanitation experience in food manufacturing.
