Associate Claim Representative Outside Property

Location: Must reside in the assigned territory serving Salisbury, MD; Denton, MD; and Dover, DE. The role is based remotely with field work at residential and commercial locations, mobile work, work from home, or work from the nearest hirify.global office. Extensive travel, including overnight stays, may be required.

Salary: $52,600–$86,800 annual base salary, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Complete a 9–12 month training program covering insurance policies, claim processes, systems, procedures, and on-the-job claim handling.
• Review, investigate, document, and evaluate first-party property claims under supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers.
• Interpret policy coverage and assess building and contents damage to create written or computer-assisted estimates.
• Communicate with customers, claimants, and internal stakeholders while maintaining accurate claim records.
• Inspect structures, including roofs, attics, and crawl spaces; carry, set up, and climb ladders weighing approximately 38–49 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service experience.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Bachelor's degree, customer service or insurance experience, and adjuster licensing willingness are preferred or expected for progression.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with willingness to learn claims management and estimating software.
• Strong written and verbal communication, judgment, organization, customer service, and basic conflict resolution skills.
• Obtain and maintain required insurance licenses and/or a UAS Remote Pilot Certification within three months of starting.
