Panel Builder (Industrial Automation)

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and wire electrical panels from scratch using electrical schematics.
• Complete field wiring to panel I/O and field-mounted I/O devices.
• Install electrical control components on automation equipment and fabricate mounting brackets as needed.
• Perform pneumatic plumbing using pneumatic schematics.
• Troubleshoot, debug, repair, and verify industrial automated equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics and provide project status updates to management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with some college or technical school coursework.
• At least 2 years of experience wiring automated equipment.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and test equipment relevant to panel building.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
