Truck Mechanic (Heavy Vehicles)

Location: Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Quebec, Canada. On-site evening shift, Monday to Thursday, from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. The additional information states an end time of 1:30 a.m.

What you will do

• Diagnose, maintain, repair, and refurbish trucks, trailers, and other mobile equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective inspections according to company standards.
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Conduct functional tests to verify proper equipment operation.
• Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records.
• Collaborate with other departments to support safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

• DEP in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent training.
• At least 2 years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanics.
• PEP card and a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to use computerized diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and commitment to safety protocols.
