Director, Creditor Insurance Product

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid work arrangement with 1–3 days per week onsite at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Develop and execute strategies for the creditor insurance portfolio across mortgages, loans, lines of credit, and credit cards.
• Manage product design, pricing, distribution, performance, client value propositions, and customer experience.
• Own portfolio performance and use data, analytics, financial insights, and business cases to guide product decisions.
• Lead product initiatives from concept through implementation, including objectives, success measures, stakeholder alignment, and benefit realization.
• Monitor banking and insurance regulations, risk policies, and compliance requirements, partnering with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams.
• Build relationships across lending, cards, operations, technology, finance, and external insurance providers.

Requirements

• Meaningful experience in product management, banking, insurance, or a related financial services environment.
• Experience leading complex initiatives that deliver measurable business results.
• Strong commercial judgment and experience with financial results, portfolio metrics, pricing decisions, and business cases.
• Ability to assess market dynamics, competitive trends, client behavior, growth opportunities, profitability, and operational performance.
• Strong collaboration, communication, stakeholder influence, and leadership skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
