Community Engagement Liaison (Healthcare)

Location: Field-based in Washington; candidates must reside in the Olympia, Tacoma, Edmonds, Port Angeles, Bellingham, or Vancouver area. The role includes up to four days per week of regional travel for partner meetings, outreach visits, and events, with the remaining time in a remote home office.

Salary: $60,000–$65,000 annually, plus a $750 monthly vehicle allowance and performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Identify, develop, and manage referral partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, treatment programs, and reentry services.
• Strengthen existing relationships and align partners with hirify.global’s clinical and harm-reduction mission.
• Conduct field outreach, educate partners about services, identify local care barriers, and expand regional networks.
• Use Salesforce or similar CRM tools, referral data, and enrollment data to track activity, conversion rates, follow-ups, and outreach ROI.
• Collect partner feedback and help develop solutions to referral barriers.
• Collaborate with marketing, commercial, clinical, product, and operations teams on regional and statewide outreach plans.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in community outreach, business development, sales, or referral management within healthcare, hospital systems, or behavioral health.
• Proven success building referral relationships and driving patient or partner growth.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools and Google Workspace.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, with availability to travel locally approximately four days per week.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and present publicly with empathy.
• Must reside in one of the listed Washington service areas and maintain a private, lockable workspace with high-speed internet for handling HIPAA-sensitive information.

Nice to have

• Experience in the substance use disorder treatment community and existing relationships in this field.
• Experience working with clinical staff, healthcare administrators, or people with opioid use disorders.
• Lived experience or training as a peer recovery specialist.
