Development, Security, and Operations Engineer (Azure)

Location: Silicon Valley; can be based in any U.S. office location or some remote U.S. locations

Salary: $126,000–$189,000 per year, plus a discretionary bonus for eligible employees

What you will do

• Partner with citizen developers to refactor, secure, and productionize applications built with Python, JavaScript, and low-code platforms.
• Establish source control, branching, pull request, versioning, CI/CD, and environment separation standards.
• Create reusable DevSecOps golden paths, pipeline templates, deployment frameworks, and secure secrets-management patterns.
• Review code for vulnerabilities, resilience, error handling, and maintainability.
• Operate security tooling for SAST, dependency and vulnerability scanning, and secrets detection.
• Troubleshoot deployments and pipelines, support production incidents, and remediate security findings and technical debt.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or related engineering roles.
• Advanced proficiency with Git-based source control, collaborative workflows, and Azure DevOps Repos, Pipelines, and Boards.
• Intermediate familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and application security fundamentals.
• Intermediate ability to review and reason about Python and/or JavaScript code.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and operating CI/CD pipelines, with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Must be able to work from a U.S. office location or an approved remote U.S. location.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting citizen development or low-code platforms.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Bicep, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with Docker and security tools such as Microsoft Defender or Snyk.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
