Global Category Manager – Facilities, MRO & Office Supplies

Location: Hybrid role required to be onsite in the Lincolnshire, Illinois office at least 3 days per week. Travel requirement: approximately 10–20%.

Salary: $122,800–$184,200 annual base pay, plus a target annual cash incentive of 12% of base pay.

What you will do

• Develop and execute multi-year category management strategies for Facilities, MRO, Office Supplies, and related indirect spend areas.
• Lead complex regional-to-global sourcing projects, managing deliverables, analytics, negotiations, risks, and cross-functional project teams.
• Manage the end-to-end source-to-contract process, including market analysis, requirements definition, RFx activities, SOW and contract negotiations, and contract execution.
• Conduct total cost of ownership evaluations, pricing audits, spend analysis, and supplier performance reviews.
• Build strategic partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders, resolving performance issues and delivering cost improvement, innovation, and process simplification.
• Present data-driven recommendations to senior and executive leadership and identify opportunities to apply new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of professional experience.
• Experience in category management for Facilities, MRO, or other cross-category spend areas.
• Proven experience in indirect strategic sourcing and supplier management.
• Expertise in strategic category management, complex negotiations, contract management, supplier relationship management, and procurement transformation.
• Strong analytical, project management, communication, stakeholder influence, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Lincolnshire, Illinois at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• MBA or CPSM certification.
• Experience with spend analytics, contract compliance, supplier segmentation, and scorecarding.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Oracle iProcurement, Workday Scout, SpendHQ, or similar tools.
